JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Project Manager – Virginia (Va, Beach, Hampton, Newport News areas)
PAY GRADE: $40-$45k Negotiable based on experience
REPORTS TO: Field Services Manager – Nashville, TN
Heath Consultants is looking for a Project Manager for a few of our contracts in Virginia. Heath
is an 82 year old family owned company that provides various services to several of the largest
utility companies in the nation. Two of our trademark services are the locating and marking of
buried utility lines to prevent damage during excavation as well as surveying properties for any
potential natural gas leaks. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced
locator or surveyor looking to take the next step in their career.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Follow all company and client safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures.
2. Serve the customer and exceed their expectations at all times.
3. Oversee and support the field services organization in order to maintain an acceptable gross
margin while providing service of the highest quality.
4. Maintain the corporate service standards and specifications.
5. Direct the Team Leaders in planning, supervising, and scheduling of operations in an efficient
manner.
6. Implement and maintain personnel requirements, i.e., safety meetings, supervisory contacts,
and performance reviews.
7. Ensure that damage reports are forwarded to the claims investigator in a timely manner.
8. Respond to high-profile damages as well as any accident that results in damage to company
property or injury to an employee.
9. Ensure a positive rapport and work relationship with all clients in order to maintain present
clientele and promote new business.
10. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Field Services Manager/Director of
Services.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree or higher preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
5 years utility locating/leak surveying and previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
1. Valid Driver’s License and no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
2. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Misdemeanor and non-violent felony
convictions are generally non-disqualifying. All adverse background check results will be
evaluated on a case by case basis and Heath reserves the right to not offer employment to
candidates with backgrounds that could jeopardize our relationship with our client.
3. Must have strong communication skills and be computer literate. Extensive travel throughout
Texas may be required.
4. Must be proficient in use of Word, Excel, and Access and have the ability to analyze data.
