Since 1929, BERLEKAMP PLASTICS, INC. has proven for
an extraordinary 85 years that advertising does indeed sell!
Our factory is located in Northwest Ohio, and is owned and
operated by Ken Berlekamp, Jr. and his wife, Sandra.
A pioneer in the promotional products industry, Berlekamp
Plastic-Ad Line has been making and supplying injection
molded 3-D plastic promotional advertising since the 1940s.
We were, in fact, the very first company to use the injection
molding process to manufacture a promotional product.
Every day, all around you, our product remains to be seen
everywhere you look. What is unique about our product is
that every order is custom produced from start to finish, and
our product is as unique as you are. We, quite literally, make
our product out of your logo. So why fit the mold, when we’ll

All items are bulk packed except for plaques, which
are individually poly-bagged and bulk packed. Contact
factory for custom packaging.

Production Time
New orders are approximately 25 working days.
Reorders approximately 15 working days.

Responsibility
We are not responsible for inability to fill orders due to
strikes, shortage of materials or labor, or any other
reasonable causes whatsoever. Our liability ends with
replacement of order. Returns without our
authorization are not acceptable.
16.
Proof Approval
Please check the following: plastic color, print color,
size, and attachment. Berlekamp Plastics, Inc. is not
responsible for errors or omissions after the proof has
been approved and the order acknowledged.
17.
Rush Charges
We will accept rush orders on a factory availability
basis. Please contact our office regarding availability
and charges.
18.
Setup Charges
First order only unless changes are made. Setups
inactive for 4 years will be destroyed and new setup
charges will be required when reordering unless prior
arrangements have been made.
19.
Shipping Information
Standard shipping is via UPS. Handling charges will
be applied when alternative shipping methods are
required. Drop shipments are $6.25 (V) per destination.
20.
Split Shipments
$15.00 (V) and up to 6 months storage for 1,000
pieces or more. Orders must be paid in full when
completed.

Trademarks
Berlekamp Plastic Ad-Line assumes that our clients
are authorized to use the trademarks presented to us
for reproduction. We assume no liability in trademark
or copyright disputes. Should we determine that the
product may require a license to merchandise, we will
require a copy of your authorization.

Color Disclaimer
Due to inconsistencies of display monitors, the colors
you see on your screen may not be a totally accurate
reproduction of the actual colors used on our product.
Print art should be received printed at 600 dpi.
Scanned images should be scanned at 300dpi and
saved as a .JPG file.
Artwork that is not suitable for our engraving process
is subject to cleanup at a rate of $40.00 (V) per
hour. With your properly vectored art file and clear
instructions for layout, we will provide the first sketch
and one (1) revision at no charge. Additional revisions
will be done at a rate of $25.00 (V) each.

Order Information
All prices are F.O.B., Northern Ohio Factory. Specify
item number, size, quantity, plastic color, raised
surface color, and attachment.
Overruns or Underruns
Up to 5%. Orders for exact quantity subject to
underruns. All orders are charged accordingly.
While we strive to show our colors as accurate as
possible, be aware that screen images are intended
as a guide only, and should not be regarded as
absolutely correct. We suggest you request a product
sample to be certain of the colors used in our process.

Size Calculation
All custom design items are priced by size, not by design.
To calculate the size, measure the height and multiply it by
the length to calculate the square inch area.
2.
Printing
We use exterior and interior grade hot stamp foils for a wide
range of pigments and metallic effects. Four color process
or halftones are not available.

Color chip(s) indicating all material colors used in
manufacturing are provided for approval at no charge.
We offer two shades of Chrome/Metallic Silver imprint color:
a very bright, reflective shade, and a darker shade. We
have determined that the darker chrome lasts significantly
longer than the brighter one.
As there are many variables involved with exterior
exposure, we cannot forecast the life cycle of either product;
however we do recommend using the darker of the two foils
for extended longevity.
BOTH SPOT AND FLAT PRINT COLO
COLORS
Due to variables in plastic and foil formulations, subtle color
changes can occur beyond our control. Therefore, perfect
color matches cannot be guaranteed.

Extra Raised Color Charges
There is no limit to the number of spot colors that can be
designed into our product. Spot colors require
approximately 1/16” separation between colors.
Flat printing has some line width and detail limitations. To
the right are examples of each type of printing.
