Submitting a Conference Paper to TII
The IES Administrative Committee (AdCom) on their meeting in Montreal on October 30, 2012 made the decision: not to
accept “Post Conference” papers in the IES journals. The prime reason was a large number of manuscripts submissions
and the fact that such papers were already published on IEEE XPLORE.
Of course, authors have rights to publish in journals enhanced versions of a their conference presentations. Such papers
however should be submitter as regular papers. Obviously, the conference paper must be cited, and it should be explained
how the conference paper has been enhanced. The lack of this citation is considered a serious violation of ethics, and as a
consequence, the manuscript must be rejected.
