Doctoral Research. ICT, Sep. 2006 – present
Research Assistant:
I am working with my supervisor Prof. Qing He on the topic of classification algorithm Hyper Surface
Classification (HSC), and distributed data mining.
2008.6∼2009.6, I am an intern in HP Lab. I am working with Dr. Ping Luo on the topic of Transfer
Learning from Multiple Source-Domains via Consensus Regularization. I was responsible for the text
preprocessing (TFIDF) and the algorithm implementation by VC++, Matlab.
2010.6.7∼2010.8.9, I am an visiting internship student in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I am working with Prof. Yang Qiang on the the topic of transfer learning.
Program Developer:
I am working on the project – Parallel Data Mining System based on Cloud Computing. I am responsible for the design of the parallel classification algorithms, such as parallel k-nearest neighbors,
parallel naive bayes and parallel decision tree et al.. All the algorithms are implemented by JAVA.
