The 20 watt ceramic metal halide MR16 lamp source offer some of the most
efficient lumen/watt fixture packages in recessed downlights. The one piece design
reflector eliminates light leaks around the reflector edge. The reflector is designed
specifically for the ceramic metal halide MR16 lamp, thereby, creating optimum
performance in a lamp reflector combination.
APPLICATION
For projects where optimum light performance and the architectural flair of
rectangular open reflector downlights is desired. These wet location rated fixtures
have been ETL listed and tested to UL standards. The smooth light pattern and low
glare emissions make this fixture ideal for use in medium ceiling height
applications.

REFLECTOR
1.This Alzak® treated reflector is available in clear as
standard. Produced of .050 aluminum eliminates reflector
deflection. One piece reflector and trim ring. The positive
"grippers", mounted on the pan allow the reflector to be
secured snug to the ceiling without the possibility of
slipping.
TRIM RING
2. The trim ring is the same color reflector. The trim ring
has a small return which makes the trim ring appear to flow
into the ceiling material.
SOCKET HOUSING
3. The UL listed socket has a positive screw attachment
inside the cavernous lamp chamber. The air flow is more
than adequate for cooling of the lamp and socket lamp
connection.
HOUSING MOUNTING FRAME
4. The precision formed aluminum housing allows for rigid
support of the complete fixture without sagging. The
housing and structured parts are powder coated matte
black. There is an additional 1 1/2" inches of adjustment for
abnormal ceiling thickness. The housing and structural
members are powder coated matte black.

JUNCTION BOX
6. Tested and listed for eight # 12 AWG (4 in & 4 out)
90°C conductors, feed through branch wiring, 1/2" and 3/4"
pry outs and a galvanized finish. Positioned to allow straight
conduit runs. Access to the junction box in an inaccessible
ceiling is accomplished through the reflector opening.
BALLAST
7. Electronic ballast are standard which allows enhanced
color uniformity, end of life shutdown to prevent cycling or
flashing, energy savings and noiseless operation.
SOCKET
8. The socket is made from porcelain. The standard is a
TAL 2 pin GX10 5KV pulse rated device
LABELS
All fixtures are tested to the appropriate UL Standards by
Electrical Testing Laboratory. The labels are affixed to the
fixture indicating the test number and the standards used.
MOUNTING BRACKETS
5. Two side universal mounting brackets are provided. The
universal mounting bracket is engineered to be used with
the 2-1 piece 3/16" stamped mounting bars which are also
included as standard or may be used with "C" channel
(channel by others).
