I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
Please note, data is compiled and cross referenced at the end of each month.
Therefore, we have provided data up until 28th February 2013, rather than 18th
February as requested. Please also note that Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) data is
only held from October 2011 onwards.

Notes
These figures only include devices formally reported as lost or stolen through the
Directorate of Information Helpdesk / Capgemini. The figures represent MPS-owned
assets only. They do not include any incident where a contractor or partner working for
the MPS has lost one of their items.
MPS policy is to encrypt all laptops, tablets, PDAs and BlackBerry devices. BlackBerry
devices also only have a limited storage capacity because they sync data as it is
required, resulting in only a limited amount of information being held on the device at
any one time.
