existing fixtures to be quickly and economically upgraded to the very latest in

of lighting, from standard recessed screw-base fixtures to commercial-grade

An LED state of mind
When you choose our LED luminaires to illuminate your hotel facility, you are
choosing the most energy-efficient, best performing, most socially responsible
lighting products on the market. LEDs use just a fraction of the energy of
conventional lighting. And with typical service lives of 50,000 hours, they can
provide about 5-1/2 years of maintenance-free, replacement-free service when
operated on a 24/7 basis. Fixtures with integral LEDs deliver the ultimate in
peace-of-mind because besides providing years of uninterrupted service, the
elimination of lamp replacement helps preserve the original lighting design and
puts an end to the theft of screw-base lamps. LEDs cut lighting operating
costs to the bone. And in addition to helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
LEDs are free of mercury, lead, and other hazardous toxins, making them the
ultimate eco-friendly light source.
The problem with codes
All our LED products provide effective solutions for meeting today's stringent energy
codes. Our new-construction and retrofit LED fixtures comply with virtually every
local energy code and most conform with DesignLights Consortium® and ENERGY
STAR® qualifications, and are California T24 certified. They can be indispensable in
achieving LEEDS certification and other "green" initiatives. Furthermore, they are a
far better solution than screw-in LED lamps, which are now subject to 50-watt energy
"penalties" in the latest California codes. At issue is the fact that LED replacement
lamps screwed-into conventional housings tend to overheat, thereby dramatically
reducing performance and service life. By contrast, our new-construction and
retrofit fixtures with integral LED light engines are designed with efficient
thermal management systems that assure attainment of rated service
life and top performance.
