ATP Testing for Cooling Trucks
ATP tests are the needed for the international carriage of perishable foodstuffs.
As an officially recognized ATP certification center, TÜV SÜD Truck Services conducts type examinations according to official

Annual calibration of installed temperature monitoring devices according to

The ATP certificate must first be renewed after 6 years and every 3 years thereafter. Our ATP certification services are offered in over 50 certified centers in domestic and international locations.

The new European DIN EN 16258 standard was established to minimize CO
2 emissions in freight traffic. Going into effect in 2013, it specifies a standardized methodology of calculating emissions for all types of transport. This new standard methodology facilitates the assessment of actual environmental improvements and the develop-ment of goal-oriented climate protection strategies.
To support companies with the implementation of DIN EN 16258, the experts of
TÜV SÜD Truck Services have developed the BLUELOGICO Project. Telematics and vehicle measuring systems are employed to calculate energy consumption and determine greenhouse gas emissions.

This certificate is based on an assess ment report confirming the stability of the truck body. It considerably simplifies and speeds up inspections by the police, customs officers or the Federal Office of Goods Transport.

Lashing points on commercial vehicles are subject to certain parameters
(e.g. quantity and minimum capacity).
Additional requirements include a type plate for lashing points with information on lashing point stability and lashing point angle.
