Seminar Objectives
This workshop aims to provide a general overview of safety and EMC requirements based on IEC standards. We will also
update you on the latest IEC 61010-1 (3rd Edition) standards so that you can optimize your product design for compliance.
Essentially, we want to empower you with the latest updates to boost your confidence on your products’ safety and
quality.

About the Speakers
Ms. Chua Su Chen
Product Manager
TÜV SÜD ASEAN
Ms. Chua Su Chen is currently the Product Manager, Electrical and Electronic Centre, TÜV SÜD ASEAN. She is responsible for the
testing services of medical electrical equipment and electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use. She is also
actively involved in the area of compliance testing and currently sits in the Committee of Testing Laboratories Expert Task Forces 3
(CTL-ETF3) in IECEE.
Mr. Song Zhi Qun
Assistant Manager
TÜV SÜD ASEAN
Mr. Song Zhi Qun is currently the Assistant Manager, Electrical and Electronic Centre & EMC, TÜV SÜD ASEAN. With 8 years
experience in the field, he is responsible for testing services of medical electrical equipment and electrical equipment for
measurement, control, and laboratory use.

b. Group discount fee
Workshop fee of S$720 per person (excluding 7% GST) for at least 3 participants from the same
organization to register by 8th May 2015.
c. Normal registration fee
Workshop fee of S$900 per person (excluding 7% GST) if registration and/or payment is received by
8th May 2015.

Payment
Refunds and cancellations are allowed if written notice is received 14 days prior to the date of the event. No
refunds are allowed thereafter. If the registered candidate is unable to attend the seminar, please inform us in
writing of the replacement candidate. The final decision will be at the discretion of the management.
Substitution is encouraged and permitted when notified.
TÜV SÜD reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any part of its published programmes due to unforeseen circumstances and will
not accept liability for costs incurred by participants or their organizations for the cancellation of travel arrangements and/or
accommodation reservations as a result of the workshop being cancelled or postponed. As early as possible, advance notice will be
given if there are such changes or cancellation. TÜV SÜD reserves the right to refrain a registered participant from taking part in
the event if no proof of payment can be presented.
