nSP5 D SECONDARY RELAY PACK w/ DIMMING 5 AMPS @ 120/277/347 VAC SPECIFICATIONS The nLight nSP5 D Series secondary OPTIONS relay and dimming pack is designed to LOW TEMP/HIGH HUMIDITY (LT) both switch and dim a lighting fixture with • Sensor is corrosion resistant to 0-10 VDC ballast(s). This combiniation of moisture • Operates down to -40º F/C features makes it ideal for rooms where multizone or individual control of lights is required. Manual switching and adjustment of the dimming level is possible via WallPods or through the SensorView software. The secondary relay pack’s two RJ-45 connectors make control wiring with standard CAT-5 cabling easy and clean. For simplifying installation, secondary packs have an elongated chase nipple that allows them to be attached either directly through a ½” knockout into a junction box or fixture. Therefore the internal latching relay functions as a dry contact for switching up to 5A loads. NLIGHT OPERATION The device is nLight-enabled, meaning it is powered and has the ability to communicate over an nLight network. Typically, it is daisy-chain wired, using CAT5 cabling, with other nLight-enabled power packs, sensors and/or WallPods in an nLight control zone. Left alone, the zone will assume default operation and can be programmed via its’ devices’ push-buttons. Once linked to a Gateway, directly or via a Bridge, the zone becomes capable of remote status monitoring and control via SensorView software. ELECTRICAL SPECS SWITCHING LOAD: 5 Amps @ 120/277/347 VAC MOTOR LOAD: 1/4 HP DIMMING LOAD: Sinks < 20 mA; ~40 Ballasts @ .5 mA each WIRES 18 AWG (2), 20 AWG (2) ENVIRONMENTAL SPECS OPERATING TEMP 14º to 160º F (-10º to 71º C) STORAGE TEMP -14º to 160º F (-26º to 71º C) RELATIVE HUMIDITY 20 to 90% non-condensing All switches and sensors can be configured to output on one of sixteen channels, referred to as broadcast channels. Devices with relays and/or dimming, such as the nSP5 D, can then be configured to follow any of these channels via the tracking channel settings. By default, an nSP5 D is configured to follow all occupancy, photocell, and switch/dimmer commands arriving on Channel 1. Using SensorView, however, channel tracking settings can be programmed for each device type individually. This is critical when an nSP5 D is utilized in a room to provide multizone dimming and personal control. OTHER UL and CUL Listed Plenum Rated Title 24 Compliant 5 Year Warranty Made in the U.S.A.
