Area Sales Manager, Europe The Company Teledyne RESON is the world leader in the provision og high-quality underwater acoustic solutions, with global presence and service facilities around the world. We specialize in the design, development, manufacture and commissioning of advanced multibeam sonar systems, sensors, transducers, hydrophones and software. Teledyne RESON operates in the hydrographic, offshore, dredging, defense & security and marine research business areas. The Position Your responsibilities will be to seek, develop, react and promote sales of the Teledyne RESON product range to Offshore; Renewables; Hydrographic; Marine Research; Dredging and Defense markets. You will be part of developing and implementing Teledyne RESON sale strategy including drafting plans and programs to maximize market penetration of Teledyne RESON products. To succeed you will have to: • Meet predetermined Order Intake; Revenue and other identified goals. • Prepare market analysis ad sales budgets. • Prepare activity plans and goals. • Ensure reseller partners are kept aware of Teledyne RESON price and product developments. • Provide accurate booking forecasts and keep up-to-date customer and pipeline records. • Remain informed of competitor status, products, advantages and weaknesses. • Remain informed of market conditions and trends. • Report client system performance issues to persons responsible within Teledyne RESON Group. • Identify and suggest improvements of sales and marketing materials (adverts, brochures, application notes). • Coordinate sales activity in the territories within responsibility of the VP Sales. • When necessary, perform product and software demonstrations for existing and potential clients with support from Teledyne RESON Engineering Solutions Department. You have knowledge of hydrographic and offshore survey market, technical and operational background experience of multibeam systems. You have full command of the English language, spoken and written, command of French or Spanish will be a further advantage. You are a computer literate, with understanding of common PC Office software, and if you have experience in using Salesforce.com it is an advantage, and finally – you have driver’s license.
