As a leading provider of supply chain solutions including logistics, pallet network, international, Warehousing and serviced Office space, it is the policy of the Green Group to conduct all operations in a responsible manner in order to reduce the recognised impacts, respect the environment and protect the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers, this has allowed us to become a major Logistics provider servicing UK and International, recently winning a contract to Import PET Resin from Mexico in to Felixstowe where this is railed to Doncaster Terminal reducing 0.5 millions road miles, Reducing Carbon Footprint and still providing a service to local companies without impacting the Environment. We recognise that our operations impact on the environment in a number of ways and we are committed to minimising the potentially harmful effects of such activity wherever possible, particularly the environmental effects associated with the logistics industry. All vehicles are the latest environmentally friendly, we take pride in maintenance and cleanliness of our fleet. We are currently installing a Truck wash on our premises which as a water reclaim system to reduce water consumption. It is the Policy of the Green Group Ltd to: Ø comply with all applicable legal and other requirements to which we subscribe; Ø prevent pollution, and minimise waste and resource usage wherever practicable; Ø take action to identify, eliminate or reduce, as far as practicable, any potentially adverse environmental impacts; Ø operate a management system which fully satisfies the requirements of the ISO 14001: 2004 environmental management standard Ø provide all the necessary resources, technology, expertise, equipment, information, instruction and training to fulfill the requirements of this policy; Ø ensure effective and expedient incident prevention, control, investigation and reporting, and always operate in a socially responsible manner. Objectives and targets are consistent with the stated aims of this policy supporting our management system framework and continual improvement. The Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and the team have ensured that this management system policy has been implemented, maintained and is reviewed for continuing suitability at the scheduled management review meetings. This policy has been communicated to all persons working for or on behalf of the Green Group Ltd and is available to members of the public and other interested parties upon request.
