All spuds fired must remain intact until they impact the ground to obtain an official measurement. No part of the machine should cross the firing line No explosives are allowed NHMS will provide you with the Spud and you may cut them to fit the size of the barrel. NHMS is able to combine the different categories of Spud Guns if there are not enough groups participating. If you are disqualified for any round in the competition for breaking any safety or general rules you will be asked to leave the competition and will not be eligible for any awards. All members of the group are to follow the rules or you will be penalized or disqualified. At NHMS we have a Zero Tolerance policy for those who break the rules. All machines must past inspection before they are able to compete in a competition. If NHMS does not see your machine to be fit you must either alter it to their standards or you will not be able to use it in the competition. No machine is to fire when a ceasefire is ordered. The staff at NHMS will let you know when you will need to be ready to fire. NHMS reserves the right to ask for additional time to inspect a machine before it is used in the competition. Any machines that are found to have structural defects or anything else that can be potentially damaging to others will be banned from firing until repaired.
