Avaatech XRF scanners are built to order machines satisfying requirements of each particular customer by implementation of various research options and features. The company was founded as a spin-off of the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ), one of the oldest scientific institutes for marine research in the world. Today Avaatech is an international company, with the headquarter in Alkmaar, the Netherlands and operations all over the globe. To expand our sales activities we are currently looking for an: International Sales Engineer Job description: You as our International Sales Engineer have a key role in the sales process. Your primary responsibilities are acquisition of new customers and managing long-term relationships with existing ones. We expect you to combine technical knowledge with sales skills to be able to promote Avaatech XRF Core Scanners to both business and technical users. Our main customers are educational and research institutions, as well as commercial companies. Moreover you will provide support to already existing clients to assure their complete customer satisfaction. Thus you would be a key point of contact for all the customers at any stage of the sale process. Your working schedule will require your presence at our main office as well as plenty of work on location. Requirements: - (Technical) university degree - +3 years of experience in international sales - Ability to communicate technology and machines specifics to both business and technical users - Proficiency in developing long-term relationships with customers through analyzing, interpreting and managing their requirements and needs effectively and efficiently - Highly developed technical expertise and sense of technology - Effective communication skills (influencing and negotiating) - German and English languages are mandatory, other languages preferred.
