Homework Comments and Suggestions
• Late homework will not be accepted.
To make up for this, at the end of the semester your two lowest homework
assignments will be dropped.
• Your homework should be neat and well-organized. If it isn’t, points will be
deducted from your homework grade.
• All work should be explained using good grammar, complete sentences, and
correct spelling and punctuation.
• Before writing a proof you can “warm-up” with an example, however, an example does not replace a proof, and should not be included in your proof.
• Your work should be as general as possible.
• Your work should be as specific as possible.
• It is a good idea to rewrite your proofs to get the correct flow of logic.
