Two mediation models, PRREP™ and Elder Family Conferencing™ will serve as templates for skill-building, and participants will engage in discussions, demonstrations and exercises that will help them organize, prepare and implement the elder mediation process. Under the guidance and direction of a supervisor, this third course in the EMTP™ series puts the practitioner “in the room” to observe, interview, and progress to facilitate discussions as a co-mediator/facilitator and sole mediator/facilitator. This twenty-hour Program includes individual and group supervision. An intern’s progress will be reviewed on a regular basis by the Program’s Supervisors and Director; self-evaluations are also part of the Program.
