Digitimer

The D4030 was one of the first
products manufactured by Digitimer
Ltd. It was developed from the
Devices Ltd. range of Digitimers
(Digital time interval marker & event
release), products that gave us our
company name. We are pleased to
note that forty years later, several
2012 research papers have cited
current use of D4030's.
The D112 Pattern
Reversal Stimulator was a
projection-based system
for studying visual evoked
potentials, using a
checker board pattern.

The DS7 High Voltage Constant
Current Stimulator was originally
developed in 1988 and remains in
our product range as the updated
DS7A (pictured) which is not only
approved for human use within
Europe but is also FDA cleared for
marketing in the USA.
1992
The D180 High Voltage
Stimulator, was the
predecessor of our D185
stimulator and was
primarily intended for high
voltage nerve stimulation.
Launched in 1972 and instantly
recognised in laboratories worldwide,
the NeuroLog System continues to
provide researchers with a compact
modular system for electrophysiological
research. New modules continue to be
developed today and all are designed to
be backwards and forwards compatible.
The DS2 constant voltage stimulator was
first produced in 1980 but in 2000,
Digitimer produced an updated version
(DS2A-MkII) which was launched
alongside a constant current equivalent,
the DS3.
Although Digitimer
specialises in electrical
stimulators, some of you
may recall that we also
developed the D190
Magnetic Stimulator in
the late 1980's.
Developed for transcranial
electrical stimulation, the D185
MultiPulse is used as a motorevoked potential stimulator for
intraoperative monitoring of
spinal cord viability during
surgery. The D185 has also
found a role in the stimulation of
in spinal nerves during diagnosis
of peripheral neuropathies.
The DS5 Biphasic Constant
Current Stimulator has
facilitated investigations of
nerve excitability and provides
clinical researchers with the
ability to deliver computer
generated stimuli.
2002
2012
The software-controlled D360
8-Channel Patient Amplifier was
our first medically certified
amplifier to be developed since
the introduction of European
laws relating to medical devices.
The DS4 Biphasic Constant
Current Stimulus Isolator
allows a biphasic analogue
voltage produced by a
computer controlled DAQ
system to shape an isolated
current stimulus.
Celebrating 40 Years of Support for Scientific Research & Medicine
Grab Your Camera & Show Us Your
Digitimer!
Over the last 40 years Digitimer products have found their
way to some exciting places, including at least two trips to
Mount Everest and many appearances on television, so as
part of our 40th birthday celebrations we thought it might
be fun to collect some photos of Digitimer products in
action or in other interesting situations. Alternatively,
perhaps you have a candidate for the oldest Digitimer device still
in use? You can Email your submissions to digitimes@digitimer.com
(please limit each image file to <2MB). If there are any really eye-catching ones,
we may even send out some prizes for the best entries! We will of course ask for
your permission before publishing or reprinting any images submitted.
A Big Thank You
Today we offer you our widest ever range of products for life science research and
clinical applications. As well as our own products, including a range of electrical
stimulators, amplifiers and the modular NeuroLog System, we also supply
complementary equipment from a number of other manufacturers including:AutoMate Scientific - Automated Perfusion Systems and Recording Chambers.
Harvard/Medical Systems - Cell Injectors, Drug Delivery Systems and
Temperature Controlled Chambers.
HEKA Elektronik - Voltage clamp and patch clamp technology, including
InstruTech data acquisition interfaces.
Narishige - World renowned micromanipulators, injectors and pipette fabrication
tools.
Scientific Systems Design - Brain slice recording chambers and slice keepers.
Thorlabs - High quality, British made Anti-vibration tables and Faraday cages.
Quest Scientific - 50Hz Mains Noise Eliminator.
Everyone at Digitimer is delighted that the company is celebrating its 40th birthday
in 2012 and we realise this would not have been possible without the support of our
loyal customers to whom we offer our thanks.
Digitimer looks forward to working with you over the course of the next 40 years!
