SUMMARY The Order Picker is responsible for selecting product from the warehouse and building customer’s orders. This position is physically demanding. Standing for long periods of time and lifting are a requirement of the position. A forklift ticket is required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create customer’s orders by following detailed invoices Work in frozen (-18 F temperature) sections of the warehouse Ensure safety practice and protocol is followed Must follow Snow Cap’s company policies and procedures Must represent Snow Cap professionally, both physically and with attentive customer service ability SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Strong work ethic Strong time management skills Able to read and write English fluently Ability to remain professional at all times, even in stressful situations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Able to perform repetitive lifting of approximately 20kg Able to walk for long periods of time Must have a valid forklift ticket Snow Cap is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of age, race, colour, ancestry, place of origin, political belief, religion, marital status, family status, disability, sex, or sexual orientation.
