a map of campus. Once registered for the event, guests will receive a confirmation email to the email address(es)
provided with additional details.
Event Check-in

Check-in and review the materials received, enjoy a cup of coffee, and mingle with staff and current students to hear
about their diverse experiences at Drexel.
Welcoming Remarks
10:00 – 10:20 a.m.
The Admissions Office will welcome you to the Drexel community and explain the opportunities available to you while
you are visiting campus.
Academic Highlights
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Following the welcoming remarks, you will be escorted to the academic session for the College or School that houses the
major into which you’ve been accepted. During this session you will have the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and
current students from your major and learn about the exciting opportunities available. Please visit the Undergraduate
Admissions website at http://drexel.edu/undergrad/academics/majors to learn more about which majors are offered in
each College and School.

Campus Community
Admissions Counselors
Available from 12:00 until 4:30 p.m.
Stop in and get to know our Admissions Team during
your visit. The staff will be available to answer any
questions that you may have. You will also have the
option to confirm your enrollment.
Alumni
Available from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.
Connect with Drexel alumni to learn more about their
experiences at the University and how their degrees
helped further their educational and professional goals.
Army & Navy ROTC
Available from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.
Cadets and cadre from Drexel ROTC will be on-site to
meet with prospective participants and to answer
questions about the program, discuss various
scholarship opportunities, and explain the path we offer
to serving your country as an officer in either of these
two branches of the military.
Bookstore
Open from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Drexel’s bookstore is a great place to explore on our
campus—show the sales associate your event agenda
and receive 25% off any one Drexel logo item.
Campus Philly
Available from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.
Campus Philly is dedicated to engaging and employing
students in the Philadelphia region. Speak with
representatives about the opportunities available while
living and studying in Philadelphia.
Drexel Central
Available from 12:00 until 4:30 p.m.
Speak with our Drexel Central staff to learn more about
how to read your financial aid package and have your
questions answered.
Performing Arts
Available from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.
Students from all academic fields and majors can
perform with, and in some cases receive performance
scholarships from, the dance ensembles, the four choral
ensembles, the six instrumental groups, and Drexel’s
theater groups. Representatives from the Department
of Performing Arts will be available to discuss these
opportunities. Please note: To schedule an audition,

your individual audition date, time and location with
the appropriate faculty member:

Student Center for Inclusion & Culture (SCIC)
Available from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.
The SCIC supports Drexel’s commitment to being a
Welcoming, Inclusive, Respectful, Engaging and Diverse
(WIRED) Community. We educate students on issues of
social justice and identity. We advocate for our diverse
students including LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,
Transgender, and Queer) and ALANA (African, Latino/a,
Asian and Native American) students.
Disability Resources
Available from 12:00 until 3:30 p.m.
Speak one-on-one with a representative from the Office
of Disability Resources to learn more about the process
of requesting and receiving accommodations and to
receive information on the numerous resources

Campus & Philadelphia Tours
We recommend that all visitors take a full tour of campus—our student tour guides will provide you with the best “feel” for our
University City campus.
College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP)
Facilities Tour
Shuttles will transport interested guests to the Center
City campus immediately following the academic
session. All guests will return to the University City
campus by 1:30 p.m. The College of Nursing and Health
Professions Facilities tour will highlight simulation and
patient care labs utilized by students at Drexel’s Center
City Campus.
Engineering Lab Tour
(Offered on April 10 and April 16)
The 15-minute tour will highlight one of the College of
Engineering’s academic and design labs.
Philadelphia Trolley Tours
From world-renowned restaurants, historic landmarks,
and live music venues to cultural icons and coffee
shops, Philadelphia offers something for everyone. Join
us for an hour-long trolley tour of our city and discover
for yourself why Drexel students love Philly. During this
tour, you will visit different neighborhoods including
University City, Center City, Historic Old City and the
Fairmount Park area.
Tours of Residence Halls
Our students recommend taking the full walking tour of
campus, but if this does not fit into your schedule, you
have the option of just visiting the residence halls.
Traditional-style, suite-style, and modified-suites will be
available to tour. Specific residence hall availability for
tours may vary the day of the event.
University City Campus Walking Tours
Current students will assist you in exploring Drexel’s
campus and University City neighborhood. This 45minute walking tour will highlight the Creese Student
Center, academic buildings and classrooms, historic
Main Building, and Drexel’s recreation center.
URBN Center Tours: Westphal College of Media Arts
and Design Facilities
(Offered on April 9 and April 17)
Designed to be an incubator for tomorrow’s creative
leaders, the URBN Center reflects Drexel University’s
commitment to provide students with rigorous, studio
intensive instruction with the latest technological
resources including expanded modern classrooms,
studios and galleries.

degree program, this session will cover what to expect
during your time here at Drexel.
Cooperative Education
The keystone of Drexel’s experiential learning
foundation, co-operative education allows students to
apply their classroom learning in the real-world while
gaining up to 18 months of professional experience on
their resume prior to graduation.
Next Steps for Freshman Students
