PROPERLY PACKAGE USED FLOODED CELL BATTERIES
ON PALLETS
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PACKAGING FLOODED CELL (WET CELL) BATTERIES
STEP 1
KEY
• Nail 4 1 X 2 boards to pallet around the base of the batteries.

• Center 2 2 X 4 boards across top of batteries.

STEP 2
• Place thin layer of cardboard over top of batteries.
• With poly banding, horizontally band batteries together at top,
middle and bottom prior to stretch wrap.
• Wrap at a minimum 5 times around to stabilize the load. Make sure to catch the top of the pallet to help anchor it.
• Add 2 vertical bands over 2 X 4 boards.

Make sure no
batteries are
overhanging.
Banding horizontally on
top of stretch wrap will
result in pallet failure.
