Entering a class into the ARC Learning Center
thru Course Record Admin
* If entering a course into the ARC Learning Center, do not submit an activity report. If you do,
you will be double billed and the students will receive two certification.
*National Accounts- please keep processing paperwork as directed before. Do not follow these
procedures.
1. Log into the ARC Learning Center. https://classes.redcross.org
2. Click on “Home” in the upper right section and select CR Admin.
3. Select New Course Record.
4. Select which Organization you taught for.
5. Enter the Course Code by clicking on the picker.
6. Enter the Course ID and click search. Course codes can be found on www.instructorscorner.org.
Select the course you are teaching (ex CPR Pro, Lifeguarding, etc). The codes are listed under the
Additional Resources. You can also find a list on www.redcross-scpa.org/instructors or by calling 1-800REDCROSS.
Please make sure the code you are using is the r.2011 version if the program has been recently updated.
Select the course you taught by clicking the box to the left of the course name.
7. Enter date, number of students, address and how the certifications will be printed then click Save.
Certification note:
• Certification will be printed by customer- This option means you will print the 8 ½ X 11
certifications print from the Learning Center after the course is processed. You will not receive
wallet size cards.
• Send certifications to customer- This option means we will print the wallet size cards for you and
mail them to the facility. It is also good to comment in the Comments section where you would
like the certs sent. You will also be able to print the 8 ½ x 11 certifications with this option.
• No Certs needed- Doesn’t apply to Health and Safety classes.
8. Click Add instructor. Either enter the instructor’s username or enter the first few letters of the
person’s first and last name into the search field then click Search. Select instructor and check “Select
and Close”. Then click Next.
9. For reference, please take note of your CRS (sheet) #. Enter Student information in, please double
check you entered the correct components completion status and click Review.
10. Once everything is reviewed and is correct. Select Confirm.
11. Payment
If you have a coupon code, enter the code and click Apply Coupon.
If paying by Credit Card, select Credit Card and enter information in.
If paying by Purchase Order and none is listed for you, please call 1-800-REDCROSS and have the
Training Support Center set one up for you.
Once payment is entered, click “I agree” and Submit.
When you click Submit your record will be entered as a “submitted”. It will be processed in 2-3 business
days. Certifications will be mailed within 7-10 business days if you choose that option.
When it is processed, you will receive two emails. The first lets you know the course was processed and
how to print the 8 ½ x 11 certifications. The second lets you know how much you were billed/paid by
credit card.
If you would like the course record to be processed immediately, please call 1-800-REDCROSS and ask
the Training Support Center to approve your course record. Please have the CRS Sheet number ready
for them. Tell them your location is PA- Lancaster.

The Organization I teach for is not listed in my Learning Center Account.
A:
For CPR/AED/FA/EMR, etc (land classes) contact John Enderle. For LG/LTS classes (water
classes) contact Sue Fleming.
Q:
I don’t know what course codes to use.
A:
A list of course codes is located on our website (www.redcross-scpa.org/instructors) as well as
www.instructorscorner.org (listed under each component). You may also call the Training Support
Center to ask them.
Q:
I don’t have a Purchase Order number set up. How do I get one?
A:
Call the Training Support Center and they will be able to set one up for you if the cost of the
course is more than $250. If the cost of the course is less than $250, please pay with credit card. If your
company is unable to pay by credit card, please call the TSC for payment arrangements.
Q:
How long does it take to get a course record approved once I enter in into the Learning Center?
A:
Properly entered course records take about 3 minutes to approve. After you enter the course
online, you can call the Training Support Center. Please have your sheet number with you. They will
approve your course while you wait on the phone. If asked, tell them your location is PA- Lancaster. 8 ½
by 11 certification cards can be printed immediately after the course is approved. If you choose, wallet
size cards will be mailed to you in 7-10 business days.
Q:
I chose to print my own certification cards and I changed my mind and would like the wallet
size cards now.
A:
Call the Training Support Center and they will process the request for you.
Q:
I’m having difficulty reaching the Training Support Center.
A:
The Training Support Center is opened outside of normal business hours and can easily be
reached during “off peak” times. Their peak hours are 10 am to 4 pm.
