Biography :
Assoc. Prof. Joehanna K. Ngo, PIE, ASEAN Eng is the director of the UST-Quality
Management Office. By background, she is a professional industrial engineer,
administrator, associate professor and practitioner. Her 26 years of active and intensive
involvement in UST include her being the chairperson of Industrial Engineering. She is
one of the prime movers in the successful ISO Certification of the University and in the
implementation of TQM which earned UST the Philippine Quality Award Proficiency
Level. She finds herself invited to give talks on varied topics on TQM. Her contribution to
nation building is evidenced by her being the coordinator and co-implementer of UST on
the Manufacturing Productivity Extension Program for Export Industry Modernization
(MPEX) projects of TAPI-DOST. Assoc. Prof. Ngo has a master’s degree in industrial
engineering from the University of the Philippines, Diliman and is a PhD candidate at
UST.
