EKT 357 Digital Communications SEM II 2015/2016 Mini Project Guidelines [1] Mini project report format is based on IEEE template. [2] The sequence in which the mini project report should be arranged and bound is as follows: a. Mini Project Title. b. Abstract. c. Introduction. d. Content e. Conclusion. f. References: Please provide these in a standard IEEE format (i.e. all the same throughout the list!), and include authors, year, title of paper, journal, volume, and first and last page numbers. You may use numbers throughout the text for your references, but please include the full reference in the reference list. 10 to 20 references should be adequate. [3] The mini project report should normally not exceed 15 pages (excluding the appendix, if any), and should not be shorter than 5 pages. [4] Please make sure that sufficient detail is provided in the legend for the reader to understand the figure or table fully without reference to the text. Figure legends go at the bottom of the figure. Table legends go at the top of the table. Your mini project should have the following: • States all assumptions made. • Shows all related expressions, equations and calculations. • Include all the diagrams, mathematical modelling and work flows. • Appropriate examples and simulation outputs.
