GENERAL GUIDANCE FOR RECORDING
It is important that the oral assessment is conducted in a quiet environment.
Please note the following details at the beginning of the CD:
Centre name and number
Unit title
It is important that the tutor conducting the assessment introduces each candidate by name before the task begins. This
is to ensure that each candidate's voice is distinguishable on the CD e.g. “Ymgeisydd 9000, John Davies; Bore da,
John …”
At the end of each recording, the tutor should verify that the assessment has been recorded successfully.
The following details should be noted on a label and glued onto the cover of the CD:
(i)
Centre name and number
(ii)
Unit title
(iii)
Names of recorded candidates.
All centres are required to record the assessments of all candidates. Please note that only a sample of this work needs to
be sent to WJEC.
