ENG.: 6.1 Clean the bushing and connector interfaces and apply a thin layer of lubricant to each. 6.2 Push the connector onto the bushing until it is fully seated. 7.1 Insert the bail rods into the bushing tabs. 7.2 Slide the bail plates around the connector and insert the threaded ends of the rods through the holes in the plates. 7.3 Engage and tighten the knurled nuts. Rotate the crimping tool 90 degrees for each successive crimp. Or use indent deep crimping according to tool manufacturer instruction. 3.4 Remove any excess grease that may have come out of the connector. 20 185 1.1 Clean cable jacket over a length of about 400 mm and cut cable end with a saw. 1.2 Remove jacket and take care of demanded length of return wires. 1.3 Wrap one layer of mastic onto the jacket, bend back grounding wires and overlap one layer with rest of mastic. Fix grounding wires with a cable tie. 1.4 Cover mastic with one layer Vinyl–tape up to the end of cable jacket. 1.5 Remove semi–con layer and check insulation diameter range. 1.6 Cut insulation acc drawing and bevel the edge. 4 250 A 24 kV 2 PST–tube Lubricant 2.1 Slide PST–tube in park position onto the cable jacket as shown. 4.1 Clean the insulation with a lint–free cloth and a suitable cleaner. 4.2 Apply a thin layer of lubricant to the core insulation and the interior of the cable end of the moulded connector housing. 1 ID–0257–2617–8 XE–0091–2617–0
