Areas of Interest
This document discusses “Areas of Interest” for anyone interested in applying for funding through the
Lundbeck medical education grant portal and it is recommended that it is reviewed in its entirety before
creating a login/registration and/or submitting a new application.
Lundbeck LLC may award grants to support independent medical educational programs
designed to encourage the scientific exchange of medical and therapeutic data to
ultimately benefit patient care and health outcomes.
The consideration of and/or award of a grant by Lundbeck LLC (or any company in the
Lundbeck Alliance) will not be made in exchange for, or to induce prescribing or
recommending of, any Lundbeck product or formulary status.
Lundbeck will consider programs that enhance patient care or further understanding of
emerging therapies for unmet needs in the following therapeutic areas of interest.
US Areas of Therapeutic Focus

Epilepsy

Neurogenic orthostatic hypotension (NOH)
Disorders associated with norepinephrine deficiency
Disorders associated with primary autonomic failure (Parkinson’s
Disease, Pure Autonomic Failure, and Multiple System Atrophy)
Causes and symptoms of syncope
