Our marine recruiter will be here next Wednesday, September 9 from 11-12 pm in the CCC to discuss the benefits students can receive with an NROTC Scholarship. We will also have a rep for the Air Force here on Tuesday, September 15th from 10-11 am to discuss the Air Force ROTC scholarships. ROTC scholarships are very competitive with the average GPA being a 3.5. Students that receive this scholarship can attend the college or university of their choice (as long as that school has an ROTC program) before entering the military as a commissioned officer. The cost of tuition, room and board, books, and a monthly stipend are paid by the military. It is not too late for seniors to apply for an ROTC scholarship, but they would need to start the process ASAP. Interested students should report to the CCC and sign up to sit in on the information session.
