PROJECT GO (the Global Officer Project) • Is a DoD-funded initiative • Funds a network of summer language programs through 14 universities • Provides scholarships to ROTC students to study critical languages domestically and abroad • Is open to any ROTC student in any service, matriculated at any U.S. university • Has awarded over 800 full or almost-full scholarships since 2007 Project GO supports the study of: Arabic Azerbaijani Swahili Chinese Tajik Dari Tatar Hausa Urdu Kazakh Uyghur Korean Pashto Persian Turkish Russian Turkmen Uzbek Wolof How students apply 1. Student visits Project GO website http://rotcprojectgo.org. 2. Student identifies one or more programs that fit his/her schedule. 3. Student applies directly to those programs.
