This collection consists of letters written between Timothy Green at Boston, Massachusetts Worcester, Massachusetts,
and New York and Samuel Green, his brother, at Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. Other correspondents
are S. Nightingale, Thomas Fitzpatrick, Gardner L. Chandler, Aquila Scott, Charles Bridger, Fitch Hall, Gardner L.F. Tufts,
and W.B. Hilliard. Items 1-14 are correspondence concerning land speculation; various Yazoo companies are also
mentioned in this correspondence, including the Georgia Mississippi Company. Items 15-18 are all to Timothy Green and
are concerned with the shipment of peach stones, acorns, and produce, and with the disappearance of another brother of
Timothy Green at sea. Typed copies of items 15, 16, and 17 are filed with the original items.
