vision.TheFoundationresponsibilitiesincludemanagementofaninvestmentpoolinexcessof
$74M,thefiduciaryresponsibilitiesforUWFHousingassetsandthemanagementoftherelated
bonddebt.
Hisbackgroundincludesfinancialstatementauditworkbeginningin1998.Hewassuccessful
inpassingfourpartsoftheUniformCPAExaminonesitting.Inhiscareerinpublicaccounting,
hehasservedavastarrayofclientsconsistingofentrepreneurialcompanies,not-for-profit
organizations,andlargegovernmentalentities.HisexperienceincludesauditsofBroward
County,Fla.,andtheSchoolBoardofBrowardCounty,Fla.,withKPMG.Hebringsunique
privateindustryperspectivestotheDivisionandtheFoundationinitssupportingroletothe
futureendeavorsoftheUniversityofWestFlorida.
Sincebecomingpartoftheteamin2014hecontinuestoimproveandintegratesystemswithin
theDivisionofAdvancementenhancingtheefficiencyinitsroleasitsupportstheUniversity.
Hehasalsonegotiatedtherefundingoftwobondissuesthatcombined,reduceddebtservice
paymentsbymorethan$2.89M,anetpresentvaluesavingsinexcessof$2.38M.Heiscurrently
workinginconjunctionwithFinancialAidandmultipleUniversityDepartmentstocentralize
scholarshipawardingandsystemsprocessingacrossthecampus.
