Preliminary Reading List for MA in Language and Cultural Diversity

The books listed below provide a background to your studies on the MA in Language
and Cultural Diversity, and will be supplemented by bibliographies provided by module
tutors during the year. Some of these titles will be referred to within particular modules,
though usually tutors suggest additional reading and supply lecture handouts and
materials as per module requirements. We hope that the list can provide a general
overview of the programme and some inspiration to keep you interested before you
arrive.

practical guidance on how to do studies of your own).

historical view).

introductory but sound overview of key concepts.)
