Guarantees cost Component Support Program (CSP) offers a fixed cost per flight hour that allows for control of Direct Maintenance Costs (DMC), reduces the need of spares inventory and maximizes Operational Availability (OA). During the multi-year contract duration, operators are in control of their maintenance costs based on predictable flight hour usage. This allows for consistent budgeting and enables operators to optimize working capital. Mitigates risk The responsibility for unplanned component replacement costs due to unscheduled maintenance events is transferred to Airbus Helicopters Inc. Support from Airbus Helicopters Direct connection with Airbus Helicopters Inc provides operators with a full range of services through a single point of contact and access to a dedicated team of experts with specific aircraft model knowledge. Continuous product improvement Triggered by close reliability and forecast monitoring, operators will receive the most current modification standard components available. CSP is a comprehensive service package available for both new and used aircraft. Airbus Helicopters Inc provides component coverage for scheduled and unscheduled events for spare parts, life-limited components and repairable items. AHI also offers an Unscheduled Maintenance Insurance Plan (UMIP). This reduced price program, gives the operator the option to secure unscheduled maintenance costs while remaining responsible for scheduled events. Scope of service AHI’s CSP offers multiple packages with adjustable coverage which allows the flexibility to choose a plan from the main catagories (Blades and/or Dynamics and/or Basic equipment). It is also customizable by selecting specific covered components. Maintains the residual The CSP program allows operators to maintain the residual value of the asset at the end of the contract. The CSP is transferable to a new operator, subject value of your asset to geographic limits and qualifying requirements. Customized terms are available upon request. The standard minimum operational requirement is 300 flight hours per year. For used aircraft only, a “buy-in” charge may apply to cover the component time already accrued. This amount can be paid at the entrance of the CSP contract or be paid during the term of the contract. Some exclusions may apply to CSP coverage.
