Polyester Solutions
Delivering Value with Brand Loyalty
Tekra is proud to have been selected an authorized distributor of DuPont Teijin Films™ polyester
films. Since 1992, our commitment to trusted brands such as Melinex® and Mylar® polyester and
Teonex® PEN film is unparalleled in the industries we serve.
We especially value our partnership with DuPont Teijin Films because our customers obtain
greater successful outcomes through the product quality, supply continuity, and high product
consistency. It’s been a win-win proposition we are committed to sustaining.
Just-In-Time Delivery
At Tekra, our successful product lines serve a broad and diverse range of industries
including: printed electronics, medical diagnostics, flexible circuitry, optical displays, labels
and industrial applications.
Having the right product, at the
right price, delivered just when it’s
needed is Tekra’s ongoing focus.
Adding Performance to Polyester
Managing complex supply chains
is a Tekra core competency. Being
exceptional at synchronizing supply
with demand has its benefits beyond
the obvious… it allows us to control
costs, reduce risk, and pass on the
savings to our customers.
From one of our distribution
centers strategically located
throughout North America, Tekra
accomplishes JIT delivery of a
wide line of products – on time,
every time.
Through our extensive manufacturing capabilities, Tekra applies coatings and adhesives to
polyester films to create unique, performance-enhanced products that solve unique and often
difficult application challenges.
Tekra’s proprietary Marnot™, Marnot Advanced™, and ProTek™ hardcoated polyester brands offer
superior abrasion, scratch and chemical resistance. Our Dura-Go® and ToneKote™ polyesterbased films feature ink-receptive coatings for use on digital presses. And Tekra routinely
laminates polyester films with adhesives from 3M to meet specific customer requirements.
Environmental Stewardship
Tekra is serious about environmental stewardship. Each year we avoid landfilling over 450,000
pounds of combined materials, by recycling packaging items or repurposing scrap material vs.
landfilling. Today, we strictly follow this thirty year old green initiative.
At Tekra, it is our belief that ‘we will not be profitable today - at the expense of tomorrow’.
