This position is responsible for supporting all sales staff and management at Fullerton-The Builders
• Process data entry-quotes, purchase orders, orders
• Matching of purchase order with vendor acknowledgements and processing orders
• Ordering special order pertaining to needs of each customer as directed by salesperson
• Executing phone orders and processing these orders in a proper paper flow
• Coordinating of delivers with the operations/dispatcher/assistant manager/salesperson
• Identifying back orders and process backorders in timely fashion
• Communicating with customers delivery delays and backorder information
• Communicating to salesperson regarding delivery delays and backorder information
• Communicating to salesperson and management problems with customers
• Communicating to salesperson and management known inventory backorders
• Provide support in estimating when time limitations prevent sales person from completing
to meet customer’s expectation
• Provide support to salesperson in measuring of building material to order and processing of
orders, when time limitations prevent salesperson from completing to meet customer’s
• Provide support to sales staff and management in printing of construction documents or
securing these documents from a remote location
• When necessary to provide excellent customer service, deliver product or proposals to
customers when arrangements cannot be made by other means
• When necessary to provide excellent customer service pick up returns/credits to meet
customer expectations
• Provide support at the city desk when necessary

 Excellent communication & decision making skills
 Must have 1-3 years in lumber yard experience either as city desk or yard/driver
 Excellent organizational skills
 Ability to read blue prints and drawings provided by customers or salesperson
 Ability to travel as necessary between yard and jobsite if necessary
 Working knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
 Technical school in Architectual drafting, construction, or hands on experience
 Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills,.
 Must be able to drive a car to make site visits, attend meetings
 Must be able to use a variety of office equipment.
 Overtime hours are required.
