However, we reserve the right to cancel any camp not meeting a minimum enrollment. Camp cancellations are decided one week before the class begins. Fees are 100% refundable if PAC cancels a camp due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds and Credits: Cancellations made by the student or parent before the start dates are 100% transferable to other camps if space permits. No refunds will be made once tuition is paid. Design, construct, paint and decorate set pieces for use in summer production camp and Paramount Players summer show. Write dialogue for the characters, create costumes, explore alternate endings and use your creativity to the max! Making Videos: What it Takes 12:30 – 4:00 PM (Ages 12 – 18) The best way to learn about what it takes to make movies is to make one. We will explore the basics of shooting video and editing to equip you with the tools to make your own awesome videos. Early Bird $85 After May 27 $110 Stage Makeup 12:30 – 4:00 PM (Ages 10 – 18) Learn about the application of stage makeup and how it is used to create characters on the stage. We will create several different styles of makeup and have the opportunity to apply them. Class comes with a student Ben Nye Makeup Kit with either light, medium, dark or ethnic shades. Early Bird $100 After May 27 $125 Week 2 July 11 – 15 The Wonderful World of Bugs 8:30 – 10:30 am (Ages 3-5) Our preschool campers explore everything about the world of bugs through an experience using dance, music, creative drama, storytelling and art. This camp is an intensive exploration for students who want to know the secrets and skills required to produce realistic drawing and illustration. Students will learn how to draw accurately with a variety of media. The instructor will give students individualized instruction and help with portfolio development. Early Bird $85 After May 27 $110 Two Week Production Camp July 11 – 22 Seussical Kids! 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (Ages 8-18) This two week camp will offer a complete experience from auditions to performance. See what goes into bringing a play to the stage! Learn how to design/build a simple set, costuming, rehearsing, learn songs, dances, stage terms and much more. The camp will end with a public performance on Friday, July 22 at 6:30 pm. Space in this class is limited. Students will receive an apron and a chef’s toque. Those staying for a full day will need to bring lunch. Campers should wear comfortable clothing. All campers must be fully potty trained before attending a Paramount Arts Center summer camp!
