Stop losing energy and start
saving money. PSE&G can get
you started – FREE!
All it takes is three simple steps.
1
Step :
PSE&G will perform a FREE in-home energy
audit valued at $300.†
Step
2:
You will receive FREE in-home air-leakage
testing and air sealing – valued at $1,000! –
to help prevent energy loss. PSE&G will also
perform a FREE appliance safety test and install
a FREE progammable thermostat – a value of
$100 – if you do not have one.
Step
3:
You’ll receive a detailed, written report
explaining recommended energy-saving home
improvements you can make, such as added

PSE&G will arrange to have a contractor visit
your home and provide a written estimate for
the cost of the work. If your home is landlordowned, your landlord must agree to participate
in Step 3 and pay for the cost of the work.
† Audit value corresponds to the New Jersey Home Performance with
ENERGY STAR® program residential energy audit.
Is your home
allowing energy –
and money –
to slip through
the cracks?
Many air leaks are
easy to find because
they are easy to feel –
like those around
windows and doors.
But the biggest
problems may be
hiding in attics,
basements, and
crawl spaces.

PSE&G makes energy efficiency upgrades easy for you to do!
PSE&G will initially pay 100% of the cost to
install the recommended Step 3 energy efficiency
measures. Depending on your household income,
you will repay only 20%-50% of the cost of the
work. This cost will appear on your PSE&G
energy bill in 60 equal monthly payments or
one lump sum – whichever you choose. If your
property is landlord-owned, your landlord will
be billed.
The following guidelines determine what you
will repay:
• Customers with a gross household income
between 225% and 400% of the federal income
guidelines will receive an incentive covering
80% of the cost of the contracted upgrades.
• Customers with a gross household income
above 400% of the federal income guidelines
will receive an incentive covering 50% of
the cost.
