square columns from Turncraft offer the classic beauty that homeowners and
commercial property owners appreciate. Made from lightweight fiberglass, these

Like other Poly-Classic® columns, DuraGlass square columns are decay resistant and
require little maintenance. They are simply beautiful.
LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN IS AN EASY CHOICE
Available in square, non-tapered Tuscan styling, Turncraft Poly-Classic® DuraGlass
columns are made from pultruded fiberglass. This advanced material weighs
approximately 65% less than FRP (fiberglass reinforced polymer). Just like wood,
DuraGlass columns are easy to handle and can be trimmed on site.

Don’t let the lightweight material fool you. DuraGlass columns have an extremely
high strength-to-weight ratio, and pound-for-pound are stronger than steel in the
lengthwise direction. They are stronger and have a higher flexural strength than
timber, so you can depend on them for maximum load-bearing capacity. The hollow
center is useful as a channel for downspouts, wiring and plumbing. These columns
are impact resistant and will not permanently deform under impact.
