Role: Between building strong relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing, planning with the engineering and sales team, and sourcing a critical component from across the world, the purchaser for Keirton is always heavily relied upon. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic drive to continually design and improve processes allowing us to remain the world leader in our industry. Responsibilities: - Inventory control and forecasting - Compile, review and monitor purchase orders - Update purchase order ship and arrival dates - Investigate and rectify issues with received damaged goods - Assist with cycle counts/organize year-end inventory count - Monitor price increases and negotiate reductions - Research alternative sources for parts - Estimate costs on projects - Provide procurement input to improve model design - Supplier and trade relationships - High level scheduling - Source parts for engineering department Required Skills and Experience - Superb negotiating skills - Quick decision maker - Experience with overseas sourcing - Extraordinary ability to build excellent supplier relationships - Extremely organized - Strong written and verbal communication skills 1 - Creative and innovative thinking – out of the box problem solver - Mathematical reasoning - Skillful in improving procedures and systems - Not easily discouraged or taken off course - Detail oriented – include the word ORANGE in your application - 3 years’ experience minimum Bonus Asset - Salesforce.com / Financialforce.com / Ascenterp.com skills - Willing to learn, teach, pursue growth, embrace change and most importantly, laugh Please include a cover letter and resume with your application, and tell us why you are best suited to be chosen for this position.
