Additional Charges
The following Schedule of Additional Charges is applicable to all purchases of concrete.
The rates herein are effective from 1 APRIL 2009, and are

PLANT OPENING FEES
ln addition to the above cartage overtime rates, a charge of $750.00 shall be applied for each 4 hours or part thereof that the plant
remains open to service requirements outside normal working hours.
Also, $300.00 per truck per 4 hours or part thereof, less cartage and penalties eamed.
DISCHARGE TIME
A period of 25 minutes is allowed, after arrival on site, to discharge load. Excess discharge time is payable under the terms of the
TWU Cartage Agreement after 25 minutes and will be charged as follows:

TRUCK STANDBY
The appropriate number of trucks required to seruice a customer's pour will automatically be placed on standby at expiry of normal
working period.
Each 30 minutes thereafter, until truck despatched, a further unit of standby will be applied as follows:

RETURNED CONCRETE ENVIRONMENTAL DISPOSAL FEE
Over ordered or surplus concrete can be returned from site in the delivery vehicle for dumping if no facility is provided on site.
Returned concrete will be charged at the rate of $85.00 per m3 or part thereof for both Maxi and Mini trucks.

Prices are based on loads of three cubic metres. For smaller loads, extra cartage charges will be applied at the following rates:
$30.00 per m3 up to 16km plus $1.50/m'/km up to 32km plus $3.00/m'/km thereafter, for the undelivered portion of three cubic
metres.

LONG DISTANCE DELIVERIES
Unless specifically quoted, deliveries in excess of 16km in the metropolitan area will attract a per metre surcharge as follows:

PLANT MIXING FEE
A charge of $150.00 per load is applied to ex plant purchases.
9.
TRUCKWASHOUT FEE
A charge of $30.00 per load is applied where the customer requests the addition of any chemical, colouring agent or fìbrous material,
either at batch plant or on site, or to avoid contamination to mixes other than "N" class concrete.

12. SLUMPS
Concrete ordered over 80mm slump will incur the following additional costs:

lf Boralspec concrete is ordered, the quoted price will apply. lf you specify that the concrete must be supplied with straight GP
(Boralspec may contain blended cement) then a surcharge will be applied.

14. LATE CANCELLATION FEE
A fee of $1,000 will be charged when orders of more than 75m3 are cancelled later than 2:30pm the day before the pour other than
where wet or hot weather causes the cancellation.
15. ADMIN FEE
A charge of $5,00 per copy will be levied where invoices or dockets are re-printed.
16. PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD
Credit card surcharge of 1.5% (for Visa and MasterCard) or 3.0% (for AMEX and Diners) on the GST inclusive value of the
transaction.
