Medically Licensed Subacute Detox,
Rehab & Outpatient Center
FIRST STEP RECOVERY PROCESS
1. Admission to First Step Recovery is voluntary and for
persons 18+
2. A diagnostic assessment is conducted by a licensed counselor
3. If the criteria for detoxification is met, the patient is assigned
a bed and detox treatment begins
4. Abstinence-based detox includes use of medication for
symptom relief during the detox process

beds and flat screen TVs
• Nursing 24 hours/7 days a week
• Nutritious meals and snacks

• Enhanced security system
5. Treatment consists of evidence-based, medically accredited
techniques to safely treat substance abuse & dependence
6. Outpatient treatment features ongoing support as the patient
progresses into a substance-free lifestyle

OUTPATIENT
The removal of toxic drugs from the body: Heroin &
other opiates, alcohol, cocaine, amphetamines and
benzodaizepines.
The physical and psychological treatment of
substance dependence.
Patients receive support as they look for jobs,
transition back to their home environments, face
emotional stressors or experience cravings to
relapse into drug or alcohol use.
