The term broad–spectrum is familiar to most of us from medicine. Much media attention has been
given to discussing broad-spectrum antibiotics verses narrow–spectrum antibiotics. Doctors use narrowspectrum antibiotics to treat specific diseases, while broad-spectrum antibiotics solve a whole range of
problems. Both have their uses and are important tools.
AOA Xinetics often refers to itself as a broad-spectrum company. Given that we are an optical
engineering company, most people assume that is because of the wide variety of spectral ranges in
which we work (RF, Millimeter Wave, Terahertz, IR, Visible, UV, X-Ray). However, the term “broadspectrum” for us means much more than just spectral ranges. Whether we are talking about our
expertise, services, clients, or projects, AOA Xinetics truly is a broad-spectrum company.
Beyond optics, AOA Xinetics maintains a wide variety of expertise in other areas. We are capable of
undertaking the electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and software engineering in support of
our clients’ optical engineering needs. Furthermore, we possess the system engineering genius to tie it
