What is National Canadian Film DAY? It’s an opportunity for all of us to stop apologizing for wanting to celebrate Canada! Yes, it’s time to show our pride by enjoying a great Canadian film along with communities in every single province and territory in this chilly country we call home. How can your school get in on this fun, you ask? It’s simple! Just say “oui” and screen Bon Cop, Bad Cop for your students up to two days in advance, then log in to the live-stream with Feore and Huard at the designated time and join schools across the country in an interactive Q&A session. Students can ask the stars questions via twitter, email or by sending us a video in advance. SCREENING PARTY KIT Every participating school will receive our exclusive screening party kit packed with prizes, games, and other fun goodies! Bonus – schools that celebrate in the most creative ways will be highlighted on our website and in the media! LESSON PLANS Lesson plans are also available in a variety of subjects! BEST OF ALL THIS EVENT IS COMPLETELY reelcanada.ca canadianfilmday.ca ® FREE! ABOUT THE FILM One of the most successful Canadian movies ever, Bon Cop, Bad Cop is an action-packed comedy about two policemen who are thrown together to solve a crime committed on the border between Quebec and Ontario. Along the way, the film neatly skewers the perennial Canadian question of French-English relations. DETAILS When: National Canadian Film Day is Wednesday, April 20th, 2016.
