Set SW1-1 to "OFF" to select the "Normal IOCHRDY" function. Set SW1-1 to "ON" to select the "Early IOCHRDY" function. Normal IOCHRDY is the factory setting; you may select Early IOCHRDY to meet the timing compatibility for some PCs. This sets the board for standard 16-Bit "AT compatible" bus timing. Early IOCHRDY also makes the board timing compatible with the following PCs: Compaq portable IBM 286/30 PCs using the Chips & Technologies chipsets SW1-2 controls the 16-Bit I/O timing: Set SW1-2 to "OFF" to select the "Normal IO16" function. Set SW1-2 to "ON" to select the "Late IO16" function. Normal IO16 is the default setting for most PCs. This sets the board for standard 16-Bit "AT compatible" bus timing. Late IO16 is an optional setting that makes the board timing compatible with PCs using VLSI chips, IBM PS/2 Model 30 computer using VLSI chips. SW1-3 is used to select the data transport mode: Set SW1-3 to "OFF" to select the "I/O mode" (default setting). SW1-3's "ON" position is reserved for future use. If your computer is equipped with a LAN status LED on its front panel, jumper JP1 can be used to connect to the LED to indicate the LAN station's activity.
