Description
CA Title 24 Lighting Power Adjustment
The AS-110 Automatic Control Switch is an
InteliSwitch® that receives on and off signals from
Watt Stopper/Legrand lighting control panels,
occupancy sensors or other lighting control
systems. It can also be used to turn loads on and
off manually.
Section 146 CA Title 24-2005 lighting control credits
may be earned by employing manual-on or bi-level
automatic-on occupancy sensors in conjunction
with bi-level circuitry and switching. A 20% Power
Density Credit may be earned by using controls in
any commercial space less than or equal to 250
square feet, or in any conference or waiting room,
classroom or corridor regardless of size.

Features
The AS-110 replaces a standard wall switch to
provide manual operation of lighting in conjunction
with an occupancy sensor or lighting control panel.
When the AS-110 receives a timed power interrupt
signal, it automatically turns lighting on/off for a
period based on the duration of that signal. If lights
are left on after hours, a one-second power interrupt signal alerts occupants with a blinking LED and
an audible beep (if enabled) that lighting will shut
off in five minutes. If the AS-110 button is pushed
during the five-minute off delay, shutoff will be cancelled and the switch will remain on until the next
commanded shutoff signal from the control panel.

Replacing one standard line voltage switch with
an AS-110 provides a cost-effective way to convert
typical bi-level sensor control to manual-on operation. When the area is occupied, the sensor will
hold the lights on. When the area is vacated and
the sensor’s time delay has elapsed, power to the
switch and the load will be interrupted and lighting
will turn off. When power is cut, the AS-110 automatically resets to off and must be pressed again to
switch on lighting.
