UNISON’S POWERFUL SOFTWARE FOR HOUSELIGHTING,
WORK LIGHTING AND VENUEWIDE CONTROL
Unison’s LightDesigner software represents a true shift in how lighting control and
power-control/dimming systems are programmed. The software’s built-in tools manage
the data of a project, freeing up the design team to create lighting environments.
LightDesigner allows designers and technicians to use real-world terms and information
as they collaborate on effective lighting-control scenarios, including energy
management, day-to-day operations, user interfaces, special events, and special effects.
With effective pre-programming and simulation capabilities, LightDesigner allows users
to visualize and test out changes to the lighting design, as well as access powerful, realtime live control and live editing of the Unison Paradigm Control System.

TOUCHSCREEN PAGES AND OTHER USER INTERFACES.
ControlDesigner’s DesignView function allows you to create and edit control pages. Add
buttons, faders, and other controls using drag-and-drop convenience. Create custom
pages, including pop-up windows, background images, animated clocks, transparent
buttons, and navigation controls, with ease. Define exactly how you want each page
to display; and when you change pages, designate animated page transitions.
ControlDesigner’s ThemeBuilder offers you graphic themes from the Paradigm library or
lets you create your own (even importing graphics made with third-party software).
Change only the color or swap the entire graphic with just a few clicks. ControlView lets
you visualize and test each screen and action before uploading the design to the
Touchscreens. And for peace of mind, lock it all down with the Secure-It Touch feature,
adding a numeric keypad with multiple-access account codes to any page, hiding any
function you designate.
ControlDesigner ensures each Touchscreen page has the aesthetic look and the
operating functions you want and need.

PARADIGM TOUCHSCREEN ™ STATIONS
From compact to large screen, Paradigm’s wall-mount, handheld or stand-mount
Touchscreens use high-resolution, color liquid-crystal displays (LCDs). Paradigm
Touchscreens’ touch-sensitive panels provide audible and visual feedback. Designed
to your specifications with ControlDesigner software, the Touchscreens’ intuitive
graphics guide you quickly through lighting and control options. Adapt your screens’
looks, choosing from buttons, faders, animation, pop-up windows, and electronic
lock-out controls.
Choose the Paradigm 18” Touchscreen™ (using the Paradigm Central Control Server™)
when you want extra real-estate for visualizing your custom controls. The Touchscreen
is a command center that gives you a ‘big-picture’ view of your entire entertainment
venue’s lighting operations – from houselighting to lobby to stage and all related
spaces. The Touchscreen leverages the ‘Virtual Touchscreen’ capabilities specific to
Paradigm Central Control Server, making it possible for you to map out complex
lighting and building-control systems, view controls, move through layers, and drill
down through system details. The 18” Touchscreen also serves as part of a stage
manager’s panel. The 18” Touchscreen comes with a tabletop stand or can be surface
mounted or rack mounted via optional accessory kits.
HERITAGE UNISON BUTTON AND FADER STATIONS
Elegant and clean-lined, Unison Heritage control stations are designed to complement
your interior design, while being easy to use and install. Heritage stations are
engineered to stand up to the daily abuse of busy public areas. These button and
button/fader control stations can be customized to suit any décor and application and
are available in a wide range of sizes, colors, and configurations. Choose from preconfigured button/fader combinations or custom-configure your stations and combine
them as needed. Heritage faceplates use our fastener-free attachment system and may
be made to order: legends in the font and color you choose and unique looks and
textures using materials you specify.
NETWORK INTEGRATION WITH ENTERTAINMENT LIGHTING
Paradigm combines ETC’s expertise in entertainment-lighting control with innovative
advances in architectural control to gain the best of both worlds. Paradigm’s
NetConnect™ offers full integration with entertainment-lighting networks via ETC’s
Net3™ ACN-based network. ‘Snapshot’ your lighting looks directly from an ETC Eos®series or Congo®-series lighting control console, and output directly from your Paradigm
system, or integrate with other Net3 devices – including ETC’s Gateways™. Initiate
playback from any ETC control device: work coveniently from your preferred interface.

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL
Architectural lighting control for any budget! SmartLink is a high-quality, low-cost solution for
lighting control. No need for software: you can connect ETC’s Unison®, SmartPack®, SmartSwitch™,
and more – and share preset and sequence control between them. When you add SmartLink Station Power
Modules and SmartLink stations, you can remotely command those presets and sequences and easily address
which presets a station activates.
The LinkConnect Control network lets you plan your lighting control the way you want. The two-wire topologyfree system gives you the freedom to put stations where they are needed, delivering power and data without
worrying about wiring. With up to 16 stations and a 500-meter network limit per system, any venue can attain
quality lighting control using SmartLink.
Recall fundamental lighting looks with just one touch! SmartLink stations are five- or ten-button devices that allow
access to presets and a sequence in Unison systems, SmartPack dimming panels, and SmartSwitch relay panels.
Green light! When energy consumption is a concern, SmartLink Timeclock is a smart choice. Meeting ASHRAE90.1 and Title 24 standards, the Timeclock maximizes the energy efficiency of your lighting system connecting to
the system over the two-wire LinkConnect control network.
Smart savings. SmartLink’s system functionality is free in ETC’s SmartSwitch or SmartPack and in Unison DRd systems.
