Advisory Councils in India and Canada assist the Board in guiding the work of the Institute. The
Secretary of the Department of Secondary Education and Higher Education in the Indian
Ministry of Human Resource Development is the Chair of the Indian Advisory Council, and the
High Commissioner for Canada in India, is one of its members. Other members include the
Vice-President (India Office) and scholars nominated by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development.
