How to Use the Degree Completion Plans TO DETERMINE WHICH DEGREE COMPLETION PLAN YOU SHOULD FOLLOW 1. Click on the bookmark labeled Cover Page 2. Scroll through the degree/diploma programs listed on the left hand side of the page and locate the name of the degree/diploma program you are pursuing at Conestoga. Bachelor degrees are listed first, followed by the three‐year diploma programs followed by the two‐year diploma programs 3. Click on the program name you are pursuing at Conestoga and the corresponding Davenport University Degree Completion Plan will appear 4. Print this Degree Completion Plan for your records TO IDENTIFY THE COURSES YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE TO EARN YOUR MASTER’S/BACHELOR’S DEGREE At the bottom of each Degree Completion Plan there is a legend that explains what courses you must take in order to earn your bachelor’s/ master’s degree. In order to meet Davenport University residency requirements students must complete a minimum of 39 credit hours with Davenport University to complete a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA), a minimum of 31 credit hours with Davenport University to complete a Master of Science Information Assurance degree (MSIA) or a minimum of 39 credit hours to complete a Master of Public Health degree (MPH). Completion of your master’s degree will depend on how many courses a semester you are able to take. Students must meet all admissions requirements to be accepted into the MBA, MSIA or MPH degree program. If you complete a 3 year diploma ‐ Davenport University will grant you 90 credit hours toward the completion of a bachelor degree program. You will need to complete a minimum of 30 credit hours (approximately one year of full‐time attendance) to complete your bachelor degree program. Students must complete a minimum total of 120 semester credit hours to earn a bachelor degree. The total credit hours will include the completed 3 year diploma classes plus any courses completed through Davenport University. If you complete a 2 year diploma ‐ Davenport University will grant you 60 credit hours toward the completion of a bachelor degree program. You will need to complete a minimum of 60 credit hours (approximately two years of full‐time attendance) to complete your bachelor degree. Students must complete a minimum total of 120 semester credit hours to earn a bachelor degree. The total credit hours will include the completed 2 year diploma classes plus any courses completed through Davenport University. In pursuing the BBA/MBA in Strategic Human Resource Management the student must have completed foundational coursework in statistics,
management, human resources management, finance, and two sequential semesters in accounting principles.
It is recommended that students who have earned a two year diploma complete all of the foundation courses either as transfer
credit from their previous institution or at Davenport University.
In order to meet Davenport University residency requirements students must complete a minimum of 60 credit hours which must
include 7 undergraduate upper-level 300+ MGMT/HRMG courses, LEGL401, and HRMG453 plus all 600 - 700 level courses
shown. It is highly recommended that the marked courses be completed at Davenport University in order to meet this residency
requirement. If an equivalent course was taken previously, another course may be chosen from those listed. Exceptions may be

In pursuing the BS in Computer Information Systems the student must have completed coursework in college mathematics,
computer systems foundations, database design and 2 sequential courses in computer programming.
It is recommended that students who have earned a two year diploma complete all of the foundation courses either as
transfer credit from their previous institution or at Davenport University.
In order to meet Davenport University residency requirements students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours which
must include 2 upper-level CISP course, the chosen specialty courses, and TECH497. It is highly recommended that the
marked courses be completed at Davenport University in order to meet this residency requirement. If an equivalent course
was taken previously, another course may be chosen from those listed.
Students must complete a minimum total of 120 semester credit hours to earn a Bachelor of Science Computer Information Systems
degree. The total credit hours will include the completed 2 or 3 year diploma classes plus any courses completed through Davenport
University.
Graduate Certificate Information 1. Human Resource Management Students who complete a one (1) year Human Resource Management post‐graduate certificate program with membership in Human Resource Professional Association of Ontario (HRPAO) and are who are pursuing the BBA/MBA Strategic Human Resource Management degree will receive transfer credit for the courses listed below. Students must meet all admissions requirements to be accepted into the MBA program. Students must meet all admissions requirements to be accepted into the MBA program.
