QL Induction lamps has opened the door to even

Above all the Color Consistency (CCT) of the QL
lamps is also far better than QMH lamps. The color
stability of the QL Induction Lighting System clearly
shows preferable values when compared to QMH
lamps.
The environmental profile of QL Induction Lighting
is positive. With a low mercury content of the QL
lamp combined with high energy efficiency and a
long lamp life the QL technology ensures that the
environmental impact remains limited to the lowest
levels. A good lamp recycling program is important

A broad variety of applications,

Research shows that bright white light is the
best choice for outdoor lighting. This applies to
residential lighting and city beautification. First of all,
with white light there is a better visibility and color
recognition. That is exactly what artificial lighting is
supposed to deliver. And secondly, the perception
of the eye tells us that QL Lighting offers a higher
perceived brightness level over HPS lamps. This is
logical as the yellow HPS light does not reflect all
the colors and depths.
QL Lighting has an ignition time of < 0.5 seconds
and its hot-restrike time is similar. The QL lamp
has a flicker-free ignition in both cold and hot
conditions. The minimum temperature for ignition
is tested at -13°F / -25°C. This QL Induction Lighting
technology has qualified for electromagnetic
compatibility, EMC. This specific EMC certification
is important when using QL Lighting in areas
where interference with other electromagnetic
technology is unacceptable.
