Installation Instructions for Dial 0-10 IMPORTANT INFORMATION 904-DIAL-010-01 DIAL-W-L1-010-_ Volt Dimming - RISK OF FIRE: This product must be installed 4 ft above the ground for wet locations. - This product is for wall mount applications only. - This product can mount to either a 4" square electrical box with round plaster ring or an octagon electrical box. - This product dims with a 0-10 volt dimming controller. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS! Install the Fixture A 4 NOTE: To avoid electrical shock and damaging the LEDs, the power to the fixture electrical box (or at main panel) must be off during installation. Refer to the wiring diagram for an overall view. 1 3 120V 1: Run the hot and neutral power wires from the main panel to the dimming controller electrical box. 5 CONDUIT FROM MAIN PANEL CONTROL ELECTRICAL BOX 2: Run red, white, gray and purple wires from the controller electrical box to the fixture electrical box. 6 DIMMING CONTROLLER CONDUIT TO FIXTURE ELECTRICAL BOX 3: In control electrical box, connect the neutral power line wire to the white wire going to the fixture electrical box and the white controller wire with a wire nut. 4: Connect the hot wire to the controller black wire with a wire nut. 2 FIXTURE ELECTRICAL BOX 5: Connect the controller gray, purple, and red wires to the gray, purple and red wires going to the fixture electrical box respectively with wire nuts. 6: Cap the yellow controller wire with a wire nut. B L 7 N 120VAC 10: Make sure the fixture is grounded according to local electrical codes. WHITE PURPLE GRAY 9: Connect the gray and purple wire to gray and purple driver wire respectively with wire nuts. YELLOW PURPLE 8: Connect the white wire to white driver wire with a wire nut. LED DRIVER DIMMING CONTROLLER GRAY 7: In fixture electrical box, connect the red wire to the black driver wire with a wire nut. RED BLACK 8 TO FIXTURE + 9 1 Disassemble the Fixture C 1: Loosen the two Phillips screws to remove the cover. FIXTURE PHILLIPS SCREW D 1 GLASS SHADE M6 SCREW 1 3MM ALLEN WRENCH 1 COVER 2 2 2 2: Loosen the two M6 screws using the provided 3mm Allen wrench to remove the backplate. BACKPLATE Install the Fixture E NOTE: Make sure that the power to the fixture electrical box is off when connecting the driver wires to the fixture wires to avoid damaging the LEDs. 1 NOTE: Use the universal crossbar (provided) when mounting the fixture to an octagon box. There will be a 1/16" gap between the fixture and the wall when the universal crossbar is used. Caulking around the fixture will be needed when the universal crossbar is used in outdoor applications. 2 2 BACKPLATE 1: While holding the fixture, connect the red fixture wire to the red LED driver wire (+) with a wire nut. FIXTURE 2: Connect the black fixture wire to the brown LED driver wire (-) with a wire nut. F BACKPLATE CENTER HOLE FIXTURE 4 3: Align the two inner threaded screw holes on the backplate toward bottom for the LEDs to light towards top of the wall or toward the top for LEDs to light towards bottom of the wall. 4: Mount the backplate to the electrical box holes with the two #8-32 screws provided. 4 3 INNER THREADED SCREW HOLE ELECTRICAL BOX HOLE 2 G M6 SCREW 5: Place the fixture completely onto the backplate. Replace and tighten the two M6 screws with 3mm Allen wrench. FIXTURE 3MM ALLEN WRENCH H 9 FIXTURE PHILLIPS SCREW 9 6 6 6 6: Replace the cover and secure it to the fixture with the two Phillips screws. I COVER 7: Tighten the cap onto the fixture to cover the screw holes. FIXTURE 7 J CAP 8 8: For Outdoor Installation: Caulk around the fixture canopy with a water proof sealant. NOTE: The fixture contains integrated LED lamps rated for 40,000 hours. It consumes a total of 3.7 watts. WATER PROOF SEALANT 3
