For ConTech Lighting AroTech Stem Extension: LA1012MH, LA1018MH, LA1024MH, LA1036MH and LA1048MH
1. Wire socket leads from ballast housing to extension leads of AroTech Fixture Extension.
2. Insert top portion of extension into matching hole shape in ballast housing.
3. Turn fixture extension clockwise using lower portion of the extension for leverage: a tight fit and
it must go over a 1mm metal rise.
4. Wire the AroTech head to the bottom of the stem extension.
5. Then insert the AroTech head mounting portion into the matching hole shape in the extension
bottom portion.
6. Turn the fixture clockwise until it is locked in place.
7. Insert the entire assembly into the track observing polarity and lock into place.
8. Turn the fixture on via the switch and electrify the track.

• Turn off the power at fuse or circuit breaker box before installation or any maintenance work.
• Wear rubber soled shoes and work on a sturdy wooden or non-conductive ladder.

and local building codes. For indoor use only.
• Do not exceed the nominal supply voltage or amperage ratings.
• Installing contrary to instructions may cause unsafe conditions.
• Warning: Risk of fire. Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated at 60°C. Consult
a qualified electrician before installation.
• To avoid hazards to children, account for all parts and properly dispose of all packing materials.
